NAGPUR: NCC Cadets and staff of 2 Mah Medical Coy and 1 (Mah) R & V SQN NCC, Nagpur rendered an inimitable social service of its kind by helping in shifting sick and bed ridden patient from CIIMS hospital at 0200 hrs in the early morning to Ambulance and thereafter to Nagpur railway station. The cadet took all out precaution to see the patient did not feel any discomfort during his movement and finally they boarded the patient in Duronto express for further journey to Kolkata.
The NCC cadets are provided Military training with the aim of instilling in them the sense of selfless service and sacrifice towards the nation and its citizen. The cadets had set a high values of social work enriched with dedication, devotion and service before self, a teaching of Indian Army.
Col. Ajit Handa, Commanding Officer highly praised the cadets for the precision, dedication and service to the society rendered by the cadets in the odd hours of night. The complete social service was carried under the supervision of Dr Shital Chopde, Nb Ris Nalgude and trg NCO K Venkanna and other civ staff
